Woodland gnomes and fairy folk crafts at Rockliffe Hall near Darlington
As usual we’re at Rockliffe Hall, in Hurworth-on-Tees near Darlington, County Durham, on the Tuesday 28th and Thursday 30th of May, for arts and crafts this spring half term 2019.
If you’re staying, dining or visiting Rockliffe Hall hotel this May, or if you’re a member, children can come along to one of our craft sessions in the Mischmasch hut for free! We can make a little gnome, pixie, fairy or woodland sprite with its own gnome home or fairy house.
If it’s nice weather, we will also create our own outdoor, enchanting woodland village together, for all the little people we’ve made to play together. We hope it’ll inspire you to make one at home!
If the sunshine fairies aren’t smiling on us, we can make fairy garden accessories indoors like fairy doors, signs, mushrooms and eco-friendly fairy dust.
There are plenty of other activities on all week at Rockliffe including drama and cake decorating – you can find out more on their website.
Did you know that we can run a woodland fairy birthday party at your own home or venue? Have a look at some of the different themes we could do!
Muncaster Festival of Fools, Cumbria
We’ll also be in Cumbria from Sunday 26th to Tuesday 28th May at the Festival of Fools at Muncaster Castle. Muncaster is the only historic property that still officially appoints a Fool. Apparently the current Fool is called Frumpid Stumplestone…!
Along with our free headdress workshop, you can also discover The Grand Exhibition of Contraptions and Curiosities, landscape art, fairground rides, sound sculptures, woodmanship and garden games.
Come along and say hello if you’re in the Lake District this week!
