A Beatrix Potter themed craft party idea for young children
The beautifully illustrated stories of Peter Rabbit make a lovely party theme for young children and plenty of craft ideas. Some of these would also work really well for an Easter craft session, for a Spring or animals theme or for entertainment at a Christening.
Rabbits and bunnies are a perennial toddler favourite. You can find a few floppy eared themed crafts in the photos on this page.
- Rabbit shapes to decorate
- Rabbit shaped party bags
- Rabbit mask with bunny ears
- Bunny playdough
- Bunny party bag to decorate
It’s quite fun to use some of the other aspects of the Peter Rabbit story when it comes to the birthday party games. We like to use a little adaptation of some party game classics, including balloon games, musical chairs and pass the parcel, to gently suggest naughty Peter and his cousin stealing carrots from Mr McGregor’s vegetable patch.
- Keep the bunny balloons in the air
- Musical corners with Beatrix Potter characters
- Pass the vegetables!
- Scavenger Hunt
We always adapt all our parties to your child’s age and preferences, so just let us know what you’d like and we will go from there!
